Our History

Vieux Château Landon adopted 100% mechanical weed control across the estate—moving away from herbicides to protect soil vitality and demonstrate our respect for biodiversity.

Vieux Château Landon replanted over 12 hectares of vineyards—through deeper soil understanding and long-term planning, creating wines with greater concentration and vitality.

Château Lezongars progressively removed and replanted selected vineyard parcels—guided by scientific soil analysis, we continually optimize varieties and rootstock choices to lay the foundation for the next generation of wines with greater complexity and expression.

Vieux Château Landon obtained HVE (High Environmental Value) certification—an important step in our sustainability efforts and added reassurance for consumers.

Vieux Château Landon began parcel-by-parcel vinification and hand-harvested vines over 50 years old—this precision work greatly enhanced identity and complexity. Our premium range was born, showcasing craftsmanship and the soul of terroir.
Our Responsibility
Our Values
Our core mission is to share the tradition of France’s historic wines. We uphold high-quality winemaking and reliable supply, so consumers can enjoy wines that are premium, healthy, and reassuring. Supported by Bordeaux terroirs across multiple châteaux and long-term investment, we balance heritage and progress—continuously enhancing both product value and the overall experience.
Sustainability
We promote sustainable viticulture: Vieux Château Landon is HVE-certified and replaces chemical weed control with mechanical methods. Combined with soil analysis and parcel-level management, we continue replanting and infill planting, while upgrading drainage and facilities to reduce long-term pressure on the land.
Our Commitment
We commit to stable quality through traceable vineyard management and small-batch vinification. Across our key estates, we advance parcel-by-parcel vinification, temperature control, and process optimization; vineyard renewal and equipment upgrades support performance in future vintages. Key technical details are provided in documentation to ensure transparency.
Social Responsibility
We put social responsibility into practice by “making quality wine accessible to more people” and “protecting terroir culture.” We supply our wines across France, Europe, and multiple cities in China, and promote regional culture and exchange through estate projects and immersive experiences—encouraging responsible, confident consumption.
