Vieux Château Landon
Founded in 1607,
Vieux Château Landon is located in the heart of the Médoc region of Bordeaux,
just 25 minutes from the prestigious Château Lafite Rothschild. Classified as
Cru Bourgeois, the estate benefits from the exceptional Médoc terroir to craft
consistently high-quality wines.
This classification
is reviewed every five years based on strict quality and environmental
management standards, ensuring reliability and transparency. While the historic
1855 Classification—established under Napoleon III—cemented the prestige of
Bordeaux’s most famous estates, the Cru Bourgeois classification recognizes
producers who maintain high standards through continuous improvement rather
than historical legacy alone.
Vieux Château Landon
combines heritage, quality, and accessibility, offering excellent value wines
that reflect the true character of the Médoc.
